Well done to everyone who competed in the Oatlands athletics trials. It was nice to see everyone giving it their all, having a go at different events regardless of ability and above all having fun earning points for their house. Fantastic day overall, the rain held off most of the day too!

Here are some snaps of 6MK competing!

New Playground, J’Lee is a Star & Footy Triumph.

It has been a busy first week back to say the least.

On Thursday we got to have a go on the new playground with our prep buddies. It was great fun and I think some of the sixers were even a little bit jealous of the preps.

Also on Thursday, J’Lee represented OPS at the State Cross Country Championships. After recently finishing 4th at the Regional Champs a high place finish was expected. J’Lee exceeded all expectations by claiming 3rd place and qualifying for the National Championships next month. Well done J’Lee, we are very proud of you.

On Friday the OPS Footy Team won a division final. Great team footy saw them easily account for the opposition, winning by over 70 points. Another division final awaits this week, with the winner going onto the regional finals. Good luck.

Footy @ OPS on Friday!

After winning last term’s Lightning Premiership the OPS Footy Team qualified for the next round. This Friday, after recess, we will be playing at home on our oval. In an attempt to gain a home ground advantage, we would love for any parents and other family members to come along and support the team. The kids are very excited about the match and I know they will represent OPS well.
